  1. Service was good, but NO mention on the additional charges. Nothing said at the desk. We showed our id and card at the gate and was given the receipt. Because there was another car behind we did not look over the receipt, which I am sure most people don’t. It was not until the next day that we saw charges on it for $55.47 which we should not have had to pay as we did not need these services. We used the GPS on our phone and did not need the sat radio for the short time we were in the car. If these were told to us at the desk/or gate we would have declined. Why were these not mentioned to us and why do we pay for stuff we did not need or use. The daily rental in Portland was bad enough! Very disappointed in Hertz on these unmentioned charges. What can we do about it???

  2. On Friday 6/21 I called Hertz from 11:30-12:00 noon to get a pickup for a rental for the weekend. No answer.
    Finally I called a neighbor to drive me there. Then I
    tried one more time. “Hold just a second,” he said.
    but he never came back on the line. My neighbor drove
    me there but it took 50 minutes before someone was
    able to help me. On Fridays there needs to be more
    than one person to answer & help customers. The
    car was fine, but hopefully this situation will get fixed.

  3. Salesmen were very helpful, informative, and patient.
    Suggested an update when a much nicer car came in and so glad we took it…. really more comfortable for our long trip.
    Prices were great…smooth transactions
