  1. Kroger employees have always been very nice to me. NEVER rude. There was one customer in front of me. The checkout gal was very pleasant to her and took just the right amount of time to be friendly. I was next, and told the clerk that I didn’t need a bag. I had only purchased three things. When I gave her my money I quickly said that I didn’t have any change. She said, “no problem”. I was out of there in a very short time. When she gave me the slip I promised her that I would respond. As I recall, I think that there was a checkout clerk at every checkout register. Very busy!
